Classes combine the power of imagination, the magic of music and the joy of movement to help children blossom through dance. We stretch, practice foot & arm positions, practice skills and learn routines in class.
We have several class times to choose from:
This class will focus on the fundamentals of clogging and will introduce the basic skills used in clogging combined with basic dance moves. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun!
This popular, energetic form of dance allows dancers to perform with freedom of movement, adding in their own personalities. This class is inspired by today’s latest music and hippest trends in dance. Age appropriate hip hop music and movement is used for each class.
This dance style combines upbeat, stylized movement with proper technique. Jazz dance is based on ballet principles with each class consisting of a warm-up using isolated movements, across the floor progressions, and current choreography all set to age appropriate music.
A classical form of dance focusing on proper body alignment and fluid movement. Barre, center floor, and across the floor progressions are all used to develop proper ballet technique. Ballet is the foundation upon which most dance forms are based.
