At Indiana Dance Company, we hold our dancers to high expectations because we believe discipline, hard work, and accountability build not only strong dancers but also strong individuals. Our competition mentality is about pushing each dancer to reach their personal BEST—not just focusing on winning. We value the competitive experience as a way to motivate, challenge, and inspire growth, while also providing fun and unique opportunities that create lifelong memories.

Competition is more than just performing on stage—it’s about learning to take constructive feedback, working as a team, and developing respect for fellow dancers, studios, and teachers. The dance world is small, and we encourage our dancers to build positive relationships that can open doors to future opportunities.

ALL-STAR DANCE

Our All-Star Dance Program is designed to prepare dancers for high school and college dance teams by focusing on the essential styles required at the next level. With training in pom, jazz and hip-hop, dancers develop the precision, strength, and versatility needed to excel in school and collegiate programs.

IDC's award-winning Clogging Teams compete among the best cloggers in the country! Our teams travel the midwest to attend top competitions while training in both traditional and contemporary clogging styles.

DANCE

Our dance teams compete in a wide range of styles, including jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, ballet, and lyrical, allowing dancers to develop technical excellence, performance skills, and versatility. With opportunities to travel, perform, and compete on a national stage, dancers in the IDC Competition Dance Team are prepared for success, both in the studio and on the big stage!
