DRESS CODE.

We’ve made it easier than ever to get the dancewear your dancer needs! Log in to your IDC Parent Portal to purchase required class attire, shoes, tights, and more—handpicked by our staff to ensure the right fit for each class. Convenient, hassle-free, and delivered right to the studio for pick-up!

For your convenience we also have a dancewear store located in the studio that offers IDC apparel, swag, dancewear and shoes!

ACRO/TUMBLING

  • Any leotard with dance shorts, leggings or capris
  • Hair must be pulled back out of face
  • Barefoot

BALLET

  • Any leotard with tights, dance shorts, dance skirt or capris
  • Hair must be pulled back out of face
  • Ballet Slippers
    *Available to order at IDC

CLOGGING/TAP

  • Any style of athletic wear is acceptable
  • Hair must be pulled back and out of face
  • Clogging - White signature split sole clogging shoes with buck taps
    *Available to order at IDC
  • Tap - Black tap shoes (Ribonette for preschool and lace up for K-12)

HIP-HOP

  • Anything comfortable to move in such as leggings, sweatpants, hoodies, baggie shirts, etc.
  • Any sneakers (Please note: specific sneakers will be required for the recital and teams)

JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE

  • Fitted tank, cami or leotard with dance shorts, leggings or capris
  • Hair must be pulled back out of face
  • Tan slip-on jazz shoes

LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY

  • Fitted tank, cami or leotard with dance shorts, leggings or capris.
  • Hair must be pulled back and out of face
  • Barefoot or lyrical shoes
