The Shining Stars Team is perfect for dancers who love to perform but prefer a more balanced and fun approach to dance. This program is great for new dancers or those looking to enjoy the experience without the intense commitment of competitive training. Shining Stars dancers still get the opportunity to take classes, perform on stage, and be part of the Indiana Dance Company family, but with the main focus on fun, teamwork, and building confidence. It’s the ideal way to shine and enjoy the joy of dance!
SHINING STARS REQUIREMENTS:
Weekly Team Class Time 2 Hours
Weekly Technique Class 60 Mins
Weekly Ballet Class 45 Mins
2 Competition Routines
Attend 3 Competitions
All monthly fees are billed on the first of the month through the parent portal.
Monthly Class Tuition: Includes 2 hours of weekly class, 60 minute weekly technique class, 45 minute ballet class
Competition Fees: Includes competition fees, costume expenses, competition media fees, music fees.

Each dancer will also be responsible for purchasing required footwear, makeup, hair accessories and earrings. Dancers may also purchase teamwear through the online store.
Dancers also pay an additional costume fee to participate in the Holidance & Spring Production. Fees will vary between $50-80.
SUMMER CLASS
All dancers are required to attend class on Tuesday 5:00-8:00PM between 6/15-7/24. Summer classes will be broken down into segements to focus on ballet, turns, leaps, jumps, stretching, conditioning, strength, learning combos and
Team members are only allowed ONE absence from Summer classes!!! Any additional absences will result in removal from the team.
TEAM CAMP
All dancers are required to attend Team Camp July 24th-27th 9AM-3PM.
Team camp will consist of technique, guest instructors, style exploration, team bonding, goal setting and setting the foundation for the season. This week will focus on bringing the dancers together to prep for the season while exploring all that dance has to offer them now and in the future.
All dancers will be charged $180 in June & July to cover Summer class and camp tuition.
